Brockles Quay is a single
storey dwelling, based on a cottage pre-dating the1700's, which has been
extended. All the living and bedrooms have windows facing the river.
The sitting room has French windows
opening on to the terrace/quay and the dining room alcove also has a large
window with views of river and woodland.

There are three bedrooms; a double,
with en-suite toilet and shower; a twin and a large single.

The kitchen and bathroom are both
small but practical. There is also a separate toilet.

There is a small utility room with
washing machine and a covered passageway at the back which is useful for
leaving boots as well as drying clothes.

The garden, of more than an acre,
stretches up the hillside behind the cottage and has been developed to
create contrasting spaces, using a mixture
of exotic planting, natural ground cover and orchard trees.

There is a summer house, bench
seating set into the bank and a cedarwood building which may be
used as a games room or similar, even a bunk-house in the summer.
